- To reflect the
culture of the people of Aotearoa New Zealand

work of female choreographers, both through recreating historic works
and in creating new works.
- To foster the
training and provision of opportunities for women in dance.
- To be financially
successful and professionally managed.
- To create accessable
choreographic work.
- To maintain an
artistic and managerial focus that is empowering to all.
- To enlarge the
audience for contemporary dance.
- To challenge
stereotypes about woman's body image and societal roles.
- To provide positive
roles models for women in dance.
- To be an active
voice in the arts and business community.
CURVE
is currently working towards their upcoming season, creating new contemporary
dance works and contributing to the cultural life of the community.
